Endroit atypique et vraiment sympa. La nourriture est bonne, les cocktails aussi.
Néanmoins il n'y a pas beaucoup de place, j'avais réservé mais nous étions assis sur une petite table haute sans vraiment de place.
Les plats sont vraiment bons, mais en faible quantité.

Wow, this place is amazing! It's a cozy and trendy underground wine bar located in Bloomsbury, and the atmosphere is fantastic. My friend and I enjoyed a delightful bottle of wine and paired it with some delicious mushrooms and truffle crostini. However, the real highlight was the Plant-Based Cheese board which was simply out of this world! The board included a mix of cold and hot cheeses that were so delicious, you wouldn't even guess they were plant-based. I highly recommend visiting this place!

Scam ALERT!! We ordered a £40 bottle of wine that wasn't available and was offered 'an equivalent bottle' recommended by a staff member. When we paid the bill we found we had been charged over £80 for the 'equivalent' bottle. The staff said they could not refund us but gave us an email address to contact. We did - no response of course. Silly us, being too trusting but what a really rotten institution to take advantage. Avoid!!! The wine was very average, the place smelt of damp, and there was one (filthy) toilet in the entire establishment. Especially ironic give the history of the venue.

This popped up in my research about London's quirky bars and since my birthday theme was quirky and dark, this just fit the bill. Our experience went beyond expectations. This former Victorian toilet turned into a bar and resto had us at hello. You could feel the vibe upon walking down the narrow steps illuminated by tealight candles. The staff that greeted us was friendly and welcoming. We had a corner table that suited us well. The place can only accommodate 50 so it's best to book ahead of time. Delicious food and a good selection of drinks. We had the charcuterie board which was fabulous for its variety. The variety of bread was excellent. We also had baked camembert which was perfect with white wine (although the cheese could use some sweetness on the side like caramelised onion or jam). Overall, a very good experience for my birthday dinner. I've been recommending it to my friends.

Loved this location! Saw the brat girl cocktail feature on instagram and wanted to come in to try. Huge fan of the green apple flavour and the service here was amazing! Food was also lovely.

I've been here several times but left extremely disappointed after my last visit.

I actually went there the day before my booking to choose a table with a overhead light and facing. As my mother in law is hard of hearing, it's important she can me.

The staff member told me she book it for me and make sure I would have it for the next day.

When we arrived another team member had given the table away, so after a long wait. we had to make due with a stall and candles.

When we looked at the menu, the options we had chosen online was a different menu they no longer stocked and the options we did want were sold out.

So unfortunately we left with no food or drinks, and eventhough the staff were lovely.. I doubt I will visit again.

You’re right, this probably IS the coolest bar you’ve been to. Had to walk the traffic circle twice to find it but so cool once we did. The space is expectedly tight but I love a cozy vibe. The drinks (I highly recommend the peaches and cream) were fabulous. While it was packed, they found a tight cute little banquet spot for us. But it didn’t seem overrun. We didn’t try the food but it looked and smelled great! Actually the whole place smelled liked raclette! We will be back!
