Love love love every time we visit La'al Sauna. Debbie always makes us feel very welcome and we always feel invigorated afterwards. Fab spot close to Windermere and we love the roll top bath for a cold dip! We like it so much that we have been 3 times and it's a great place to bring friends and family. Will be back again soon!

I have always loved my experiences at Laal Sauna, especially so at Low Wray Campsite. Before Laal Sauna drew me to the location I never knew what a special site it is. Nothing short of magical! The Laal Sauna invites you to relax and enjoy nature all around you. There's always a lovely atmosphere even in torrential rain 😉 It perfectly compliments the surroundings, the campers enjoying their holiday make me wish I was staying over even though I only live a few miles away! A delicious Nomad pizza after a sauna certainly is a winning formula. I have made some wonderful memories here and hope to make many more!

The Laal Sauna is just such a brilliant, fun concept. The sauna in a horsebox is just genius, with no corners cut on quality of sauna experience. Debbie has really thought of everything from ensuring you have a comfy place to sit by the fire, to the freshly topped up ice bath in between sauna stints. The whole set up is immaculate & everything is clean & well thought out. She looked after our dryrobes & other items while we were swimming in the lake & even provided giant marshmallows for us to toast on the fire afterwards! Myself & friends have used the Laal sauna several times now & had the best time! Amazing experience & even more amazing value for money!

We booked in for a full moon session and absolutely loved it! Cold dip in Ullswater followed by an amazing sauna experience.

Debbie was a brilliant host and explained everything to us on arrival and made us feel really at home. An extra perk to the lovely experience was sitting by the fire toasting marshmallows and chatting under the full moon. Can’t wait to book in again!

We have booked multiple sessions in this sauna. The lady that runs it is absolutely lovely and we often end up chatting with her. The sauna is beautiful and she also has a cold dip bath tub set up for afterwards if you want a dip! Selfishly reluctant to leave a good review to stop it from booking up so we can still go here haha!

What a fabulous little sauna on the banks of Lake Windermere. We booked a 30 minute slot but wished we’d booked an hour as it just wasn’t long enough to enjoy the views, the sauna & a swim inbetween Sauna sweating time 😜. (the lake was freezing 😳☃️ cold but a welcome QUICK dip after the sauna).

i slept like a log that evening, not sure if its the heat of the sauna & the cold of the lake but wow, fab nights sleep.

The sauna had everything you’d need, it was clean & tidy, there were hooks for towels/dry coats and a little bucket to clean your feet before entering the sauna.

The owner was friendly, knowledgeable & happy to help, take photos for us. We’d booked showers & changing facilities which are owned/run by Fellfoot park. They had lockers for valuables in the changing rooms. The views across & up Windermere are beautiful, we even saw the SteamTrain across at Lakeside.

I’d recommend the whole experience & will definitely be returning again. A little Gem hidden away at Fellfoot park 🌟💛

Spent a lovely hour here with friends at the weekend. Even on the hottest day of the year it was fab! Can’t wait to try it in the winter too! Laal sauna is such a gem, high spec, hot and wonderful views! The bonus touch of the cool down sprinkler was very much welcomed! Will definitely visit again, looking forward to the next time!

What a wonderful experience!! The horse box is so cosy with a wonderful wood panelled/wood fired sauna inside, there's a bath tub of cold water or you can dip in the lake. All finished with chats with the lovely Debbie around the camp fire - bliss!
