Food here is decent here. We ordered the gumbo, red beans and rice, house salad, calamari, hamburger for the kiddos, fish city sandwich. Fish was cooked to perfection but flavor was lacking in the fish city sandwich. The burgers were a bit dry. Gumbo was a little salty but the red beans and rice was perfect. Perfect portion size and the prices were decent as well. Service was good. It's a great place for small and large groups. Has a bar and grill feel and kind of marine vibes -suppose to feel like you're in a pirate ship type theme. I wouldn't knock it till you try it. May be your vibe. Till then, let's eat!!!

Have you ever experienced one of those amazing nights when you're craving seafood?! I had no idea this place was the go-to spot on weekends. It may be medium-sized, but it really comes alive when the weather is nice and the bar extends. Don't forget to check out the specials on the chalk wall; I personally recommend trying the cajun crawfish and shrimp penne pasta - it's delicious! The hush puppies are tasty, the catfish is crispy, and the wine pours are just perfect. The place is always full of good vibes, making it more than just a spot, but a lively experience.

Ate here again recently with a friend. We both had the Grouper. Absolutely delicious! Service is great, too. I highly recommend Fish City Grill at Watters Creek.

First time there. They brought us a complimentary sampler of their soups. Liked them all except the crab bisque. The entrees were delicious. The atmosphere was casual but nice... not dive-ish. It's nice to have a fish place that isn't a dive or upscale.

We'll definitely be back!

Let me tell you....
There's this thing called salmon bites, which were a solid 8/10 mixed in with garlic honey. The honey glaze recipe CAN get overpowering towards the end.
I then asked for the caper salmon with broccoli substitute for rice, which happened to have butter on it with pinach, garlic, tomatoes.... wow.
You will not be disappointed.

All of this when I came in around 430 PM on a Friday night, so it was pretty chill.
Fish is not cheap, and I am a fish guy, so I was rather surprised when it was priced reasonably well, especially for how well the meal was made.

I was impressed with this place. First, I couldn’t believe how reasonable the seafood was. Second, the food was flavorful. The dessert (Blackberry Cobbler) was tasty, and our server was on top of it. I have no complaints.

Had high hopes but will not be back.

Main complaint is the level of service. I walked in and waited to be seated, an older man seated me but walked away shortly after and did not provide a menu. Thankfully the bartender saw and basically took care of me the whole time. None of the waiters ever came by my table nor could I make eye contact with them when I needed anything.

The food was lackluster. I got the combo platter with shrimp and sub’d for cod. It was mainly flavorless. The fries were less golden and more brown. And their take on coleslaw is sooo dry. There may have been a hint of vinaigrette but it was mainly wet cabbage.

Stopped in for happy hour and was so glad I did. The bartender, Valerie, was def on her A-game. Since it was my first time in she had the manager bring me a welcome sampler of the Oyster Nachos and several of the soups. All were excellent. It was a tough decision but I chose the Bacon Jalapeño Mahi Tacos which were prepared to order and absolutely delicious. My ice cold Allstadt Oktoberfest draft was on Happy Hour special. I was really impressed and will def be back soon to try some more items from the menu!

This was a really good place to eat! Even though we went in through the wrong door (it seems to be the norm), we were greeted and seated. It is small but the service was outstanding and the food delicious! Jeremy, our server, always checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled. We both ordered fish and chips which was so delicious! The fish was not overly greasy and the fries were perfect. Not too crunchy and not undercooked either. My husband got the gumbo which he said was so good that it didn't need crackers. They have a full bar and gluten free options. They also have outside seating. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Thank you, Fish City Grill!
