I have mixed feelings about this place, we have been visiting for years and will no doubt go back. The atmosphere is good, it's in a good location with bus, train, and M1 links.

The layout of the building is great. The car park is a good size and has disabled bays. The staff are always lovely and always try to go out of their way for you. The prices are great and the decoration is nice. The food is usually really good, especially for the price. They have a good option choice and a decent kids menu and offers during midweek.

The bad bits seem to be lack of care and maintenance. The tables keep being moved around and don't always fit the space very well, sometimes leaving you squashed in or next to a door that staff keep going in and out of.
The ceiling in the extension clearly has issues with leaking, and there is damp and mould, which has been there for some time (at least a year) and doesn't seem to be having any repairs. Which isn't nice sitting around mould whilst eating.
Also, the ladies' toilet windows are the old metal style, which, to be fair, can be damp in winter, unfortunately its summer and its never been cleaned. They are very mouldy. It wouldn't take much for someone to don some PPE and wipe this over with some mould treatment as this is unhealthy for patrons breathing in the spores.

My daughter really enjoyed her burger, and my grandson liked his chicken bites, cheesy chips, and beans.
I chose the chicken gyros and skin on fries. I was a bit disappointed as it was clearly misrepresented by the picture. This is the first time I've been disappointed with a meal here. The fries were definitely not skin on. The picture of the gyro showed big chunks of freshly grilled chicken. What turned up was about 6 pieces of small, thin bits of very dried chicken that played peek a boo as they were hard to find.

If the repairs and cleaning were done, I'd probably give this a 5 star rating.

We came here for lunch.
Ordered, paid, and waited…
Fifteen minutes later, they told us the food would take an hour.
We got our money back and left hungry and annoyed.

A “convenient and delicious pub,” indeed. Perfect place to withdraw cash!

P.S. During busy hours, it might be a good idea to let customers know in advance. This way, you can save their time and keep their spirits high.

Food was good value, tasted good and prompt. Staff cheerful and helpful. Worth a visit for a local pub feel and some good pub grub.

The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.
The food is very good value for money and I would highly recommend it. It was my friend's birthday and she wanted to go there.

Some lovely friendly staff. Excellent food for the price and the staff go above and beyond for family events. Toilets need an overhaul but other than that a lovely welcoming boozer!

This is a very well run establishment. The food is good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. There's a good selection, too. The premises are well appointed and there's plenty of car parking spaces. It's also near bus stops and East Garforth train station. Friendly staff also. Well worth the visit and a return. Easy to book a table.

We were there a total of 2 hours and there was only 1 or 2 other tables. It was so slow. The food was very basic we wouldn't return for food at least.

Place needs a good clean. Damp and mould on walls and ceiling. Pepsi was too cyrupy so gas needs turning up. Staff were strange. We were talking and enjoying our conversation in our little damp and mouldy corner, then staff show up and turn the tv on to loose women. Bizzarre. Food (chicken) was incredibly dry and burnt round the edges. My battered mushroom starter was full of grease. Bit into it and hot oil poured out, yuck! Wont be back again im afraid. First impressions were awful.
